Befitting the idiom - moths to a flame, this humble joint is teeming with patrons who are yearning to prod down a chock-full bowl of shaved ice topped with sweet syrups, grass jellies, creamy corn, red beans and a scoop of melting ice cream, then showered with chocolate syrup and roasted nuts. Shove your spoon through the drool-inducing dessert, get a little bit of every element for a mouthful of texture and taste.
What makes all of that even more special is its price, which is only RM3.00. How affordable can that be for such a delectable bowl of ABC?

2) Cendol Kampung Hulu
Nothing beats a bowl of cooling Cendol as a hot weather remedy. Placed in a plastic cup, the ingredients here are generously loaded in each bowl. It’s pretty easy to spot this place because it’s located along a back alley and is crowded with queueing line. Everyone here recommends the Durian Cendol because as we already know, Durian+Cendol=Perfection. Aside from that, you can also choose up to many other fruit shaved ice too!
A standard serving (with ice cream) is RM5 and you can add for as many additional fruit toppings you want. Every scoop is chargeable at RM1. For example, the cendol will cost RM7 because of additional mango cubes and longan.

Shall we include this list with a Cendol spot that’s in Pontian? Pontian residents, this one is for you guys! Cendol Mahabbah is renowned for their bowl of Cendol loaded with chunks of mangoes on the side.
Who knew Cendol will complement mangoes so well? But once you tried their rendition of Cendol, you’ll definitely be amazed. Or, if you like plain Cendol, then theirs will not disappoint either.

4) Awiet Corner ABC
Perhaps the hottest joint in Johor to nab a bowl of Ice Kacang, as this crowd-rousing stall is right beside Johor Bahru’s fire station. Adhering to night owls’ prayers, Awiet Corner shuts the door at two am, therefore, time and Ice Kacang is always on your side.
The chendol with cempedak has the fruity sweetness taste blending into the cendol. As for Chendol Tapai, it was a filling dessert bowl to enjoy. Tapai is also known as pulut is actually glutinous rice and some called it fermented rice. With Tapai added in, the cendol tasted milky and there is a strong distinct taste of tapai in it. The sweetness level of the cendol also decreased after added Tapai in.
