GET TO KNOW ABOUT ZOO JOHOR
The zoo was opened in 1928 by Sir Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Sir Abu Bakar, His royal Highness Almarhum Sultan, Named kebun binatang which is the animal garden or zoo. At the same time, zoo Johor was southeast asia first of its kind. The zoo was handed over the state goverment of Johor on 1 April 1962 and opened to the public to the same year. The 12.5 acre Zoo Johor is located 1 km from Johor Bahru city centre and is the only zoo administrated by a state government in Malaysia.

There are more than 100 animal species in the zoo displayed in 28 exhibits. these range from gorilla, elephant, tiger , horse, lion and etc. The best thing of Zoo Johor is the fee for Adult is just only RM 2 and for Child only RM 1.
