Gunung Ledang Recreational Forest

Gunung Ledang Recreational Forest is a bathing location with a stunning view. Located about 15 km from the city of Tangkak and the North-South Highway, it is sure to be an attraction for tourists either from within or outside the Ledang district, especially on weekends or holidays.

The peaceful and noisy atmosphere of some waterfalls and the sound of birds is quite engrossing that can give peace to visitors to relax quietly. There are several pools that are perfect for all walks of life whether children or adults. Although the waterfall comes from the Mount Ledang Mountains, visitors who enjoy extreme activities can climb up the stairs and down the tree roots to the top of Mount Ledang. Each climbing height gives visitors the opportunity to see 100-year-old trees. The beauty of flora and fauna from various species can also be seen in Gunung Ledang and one of its uniqueness is `Orchid Slippers' which can only be found in Gunung Ledang. Gunung Ledang Recreational Forest which is a forest reserve is also rich in herbs and tree roots that can be a cure for various diseases.

The best time to visit this place is between April and September. This is because the weather at that time was warmer and less rainy. The rainy season usually starts in November until February. So this time it is not appropriate to go for a bath either at the waterfall or elsewhere. The risk of bathing in a waterfall at this time can increase a person's chances of drowning, especially when there is a water head at the waterfall.
