Muar is famous for having many good food places. In the city of Muar as well, you can taste various types of authentic food in the state of Johor, especially Mee Bandung. Apart from that, Muar is also famous because this city is the focus of the community who want to taste delicious satay dishes for breakfast which is a new experience for people especially outside from the city of Muar. 

Although there are many stalls serving satay dishes, but R&H Cafe Sate Maharani is often full of customers either from the surrounding area or outside the city of Muar.

Sate Maharani has been established in the city of Muar since the 1990s and is one of the earliest in this city. That is the reason why people around Muar often call this place as unique and legend.


Sate Maharani is so popular, loved by all groups and races from the average person to celebrities, VIPs and even the Royal Family of Johor. The reason is that Sate Maharani has a unique taste compared to the stalls around Muar. 

Another reason is the traditional method practiced when roasting satay carefully added with the ingredients applied on the satay evokes some pungent aroma, in addition to the quality of selected meat and chicken. Every skewer that is baked, the person in charge will always makes sure the texture must be soft, the fire always stays even, not charred and all the flavors of the spices remain intact on the baked satay.


Here, you can enjoy chicken, meat and belly satay. Each satay order will be combined with peanut sauce made using hereditary recipes. You can also enjoy other dishes such as lontong, mihun soup and tauhu lentok.
